  • scoliosis

and more.

What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic treatment is a natural, non-drug healing approach that focuses on the relationship between three main systems of the body: skeleton (bones), muscles, and nerves.

How it works: at Root Cause Medical Clinic, our doctors of chiropractic focus on the bones of the skeleton to optimize their alignment. If the skeletal joints are aligned and moving freely, you will experience less joint irritation, less inflammation and less swelling. It’s those misalignments that impinge on your nerves and cause you pain, numbness or weakness.

A gentle chiropractic adjustment is delivered to the part of the spine (or joint) that is misaligned and causing the pain. Whether it is tennis elbow, back pain, neck pain, sciatica, or any other pain—chronic or acute—our chiropractic adjustments have proven to give you relief and help restore you to optimum health.

We Correct What’s Causing Your Pain

Our first step is to properly diagnose why you are feeling pain or discomfort. For example, a patient may be experiencing pain that is due to a pinched nerve. For such a patient, our doctor of chiropractic (and in some cases also our physical therapist) will diagnose the underlying root cause of that pain. For other patients, their pain may be due to a different cause, in which case another form of treatment is recommended.

The beauty lies in the multitude of treatment options that we offer here at our clinic:

We don’t treat everyone the same. Instead, our team of doctors specializes in determining what the best course of treatment is for each and every patient.

As part of our service, you will receive a comprehensive examination by our medical doctor and doctor of chiropractic both, who work together to determine the best treatment approach to restore your health. For example, simple stretching and exercises (that can be done at home) may be an important component of one’s particular treatment program.

Getting to the Root Cause of your Pain

Getting out of pain is one thing—but getting out of pain FOR GOOD is an entirely different thing. If you’ve had back pain, for example, you know how debilitating and exhausting it can be. Your ability to perform basic, daily activities is severely compromised. If you’ve taken medications and only noticed temporary relief, you are not alone in your frustration.

Masking the pain with a drug is not getting to the root cause of the problem, which is often an irritated or pinched nerve. A chiropractic adjustment is designed to address the cause of the problem—the pinched nerve—and resolve it at its source.

A good analogy: Imagine that you are walking along and there is a small pebble inside your shoe. You are in pain, and the more you keep walking, it gets harder and harder to to do so. You could swallow a pill to relieve the pain—or you can simply remove the pebble from your shoe. It was a “mechanical” problem.

Our doctors of chiropractic take such a mechanical approach. We don’t just mask your pain, we get rid of it for good by correcting what was causing it in the first place.

If pain is coming from an irritated nerve, it’s a mechanical problem. Mechanical problems require mechanical solutions. Our chiropractors are trained to deliver specialized chiropractic adjustments that relieve the irritation of the nerve—for good.

There is no reason for you to continue suffering in pain. If you have seen other chiropractors but are still in pain, then try our approach to find the root cause of the pain and get rid of it—permanently.
