Credentials
Chris Doyle is a registered dietitian dedicated to improving health through the enjoyment of good food.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder, where his interest in and fascination for nutrition began.
He received his Master of Science in Nutrition from Hunter College in New York City before completing his Dietetic Internship at the University of Houston with a focus on sports dietetics.
After earning his RD credentials, Chris took the position as sports nutritionist for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, a minor league affiliate for the Chicago Cubs. While in Myrtle Beach, Chris also worked as the first and only dietitian for the Coastal Carolina University Athletic Department.
Philosophy
In 2019 Chris moved to Tampa to work at Tampa Sports Academy helping to counsel and improve the health, nutritional habits, and performance of athletes and the general population alike.
Over the course of his professional career, he has married his passion for sports, nutrition, and helping people into a fulfilling experience.
Chris is thrilled to be a part of the Root Cause Medical Clinic team and to continue to improve lives one bite at a time.
Hobbies
When not thinking about food, he enjoys hiking, running, dreaming about snow, and playing with his dogs.
