Doctor of Chiropractic

  • Credentials

Dr. Joseph Little is a Doctor of Chiropractic, having graduated from Logan University.  He began chiropractic school with a strong interest in clinical neuroscience and sports medicine.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State University.

Dr Little’s desire to focus on a healing methodology that eschewed medication came from a personal loss. At a young age, his father passed away from preventable chronic health issues. It was later discovered at the time of his death that his father was prescribed three different pain medications from three different prescribing physicians, creating avoidable complications.

It was this experience that sparked Dr. Little to question conventional pain management approaches and inspired a passion for helping others improve their health by addressing the cause - rather than masking the problem with medication.

Having completed upwards of 300+ hours of post-graduate study in various areas of applied clinical neuroscience, Dr. Little has a passion for working with complex pain, neurological, and sports-related conditions.

He has dedicated himself to extensive post-doctoral training in the areas of Functional Neurology and Functional Medicine - disciplines which utilize non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical therapies to effectively treat a wide-range of conditions and improve human performance.

  • Philosophy

He believes that by treating body and brain simultaneously, patients often experience unusually rapid reductions in their pain and improvements in function, even after a long-history of chronic pain and multiple, prior surgeries.

The conditions he successfully treats include chronic and post-traumatic pain syndromes, traumatic brain injury, post-concussion syndrome, migraine headaches, vertigo, balance disorders, pediatric developmental and learning disorders, and sensory processing disorders.

He believes that by treating body and brain simultaneously, patients often experience unusually rapid reductions in their pain and improvements in function, even after a long-history of chronic pain and multiple, prior surgeries.

Using a multi-modal approach and cutting-edge diagnostics, he and his colleagues at Root Cause Medical Clinic work to develop an individualized plan tailored to each patient’s unique condition while addressing the underlying cause of their symptoms.

  • Hobbies

When not seeing patients Dr. Little enjoys focusing on the four F’s: Family, Friends, Fishing, and Football.
